CBED has undertaken extensive consultation with members of the border community, including businesses, NGOs, and government agencies, to determine needs that can be met by NMSU.

CBED has met with the Border Industrial Association (BIA), New Mexico Border Authority, Hunt Institute for Global Competitiveness at UTEP, Mesilla Valley Development Alliance (MVEDA), City of Las Cruces, City of Sunland Park, UTEP’s Border Region Modeling Project, Academy for Learning in Retirement, FEMA, Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce, Wilson & Company, Inc. (Engineers & Architects), New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee, NADBank, the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, among other actors.
